March

Wow, it's been a while since I updated the Blog. We've had a busy three months. We started off the year with a visit from Rosie the Service Dog. The girls created get well cards for the hospital as we learned about being Considerate and Caring. The nurses were very thankful for the cards when I dropped them off.

The girls had a great time making bracelets, having to decide a fair and honest way to divide the beads.

As the girls talked about being Courageous and Strong, they earned a kickboxing patch and chose four different things they could do to show how they could be courageous and strong.

For World Think Day, the girls each shared items from around the world. What fun to see all the interesting things that have been collected and given as gifts.

The Girls collected items for the Samaritan's Inn in McKinney as we talked about Respecting ourselves and others.

Cookie sales were very successful. Between the booth sales and pre-sales, we sold almost 1000 boxes of cookies!!!!!

During our Journey we have discussed how seeds travel and blew trumpet vine seeds into the woods behind the school. We looked at different rocks and how they formed, followed by examining sands from around the world under microscopes.
